Ear Candling / Hopi Ear Candling one day course

About Ear Candling - Hopi Ear Candling

The candles are still made today on the basis of the old traditional formula originating from the Hopi Indians. Ingredients include beeswax, honey and sage. Hopi candles are named after the Native American Hopi Indians who first introduced this gentle therapy to the modern age. The Hopi people are renowned for their extensive knowledge of healing and their spiritual lifestyle.

Aims & Structure:

This one-day course offers therapists the opportunity to add this gentle, non-invasive therapy to the range of treatments they can offer their clients.  After the course therapists can offer their clients a treatment lasting around 45 minutes.

Who is eligible:

This course is suitable for qualified therapists (e.g. those qualified in massage, reflexology, Indian head massage, beauty therapy etc.) who will receive a CThA & CMA approved certificate. Non-therapists who wish to do the course for their own interest will not be eligible to receive this certificate but will receive an attendance certificate signed by the tutor.

Benefits:

Ear Candling relieves pressure and pain, mainly in the ear and head area.  It is soothing and helpful for conditions such as headaches, compacted ear wax, sinus problems, tinnitus etc. and is a very relaxing therapy in its own right.

Accreditation: This course is recognised by the Complementary Medical Association (CMA) and approved by the CThA / EMBODY (for students with a level 3 qualification).  On successful completion of the course a certificate will be issued and qualified therapists can obtain insurance to practice Ear Candling on their clients.
